BMW Performance SSK
Anyone know the part number for the BMW Performance SSK lever?
I want a SSK for my 09 335i, but I don't want the shift boot and shift knob. 'Course, I could order it, then sell the boot and knob, but does anyone know the price for just the lever?

Thanks!
This is what I was looking for. Now, what do people think of the idea of buying the kit, and trying to sell the boot and knob?

I bought the 335i SSK, sold the knob and boot and now decided not to install the ssk. PM me if you're interested in it. It's the SSK made for the 335i with the lever and carrier.

the shifter alone from BMW is silly cheap anyway, about $50 at a guess, so its not worth the initial outlay, then the loss at selling the knob and boot separate..
get the shifter alone , plus p/n 2511 1 220600 for the locking ring incase the old one breaks

Thanks for the help!
What's the reason then for the big price of the kit?

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271400 If you want the CORRECT SSK experience (and its amazing !), you must also order the corresponding shifting arm that comes with the kit. The kit has 6 parts, and you need the following four parts (without boot and knob): 25111220600 25110434217 25111220379 25110434218 Tischer cannot provide the 335i-specific kit without the boot and the knob (I asked), you must order the parts from a dealership (I did).

To extend on my previous question. If I have it done by an outside install shop would BMW still honor the warranty or do i risk voiding the warranty on that aspect of things.

You're shifter won't be covered anymore. But everything else. If you go in for a blown engine, it's not like they're going to say "we'd love to help, but you got this SSK installed.... so you SOL".... You're warranty will remain intact.

word yeh thats what i figured and i guess if the shifter isn't covered i can get the shifter alone for it seems like 60-70 bucks somewhere online again.
As long as they wouldn't be well oh your transmission is fucked cause of the ssk sorry dude. But no I feel like if the job is done right how would they know whether a non BMW shop did it or if another BMW dealer did it. They wanted to charge me 180-190 for install and the full $576 for the part and I saw the part on getBMWparts.com for $460 |

you may wanna double check with your local BMW parts department -- it may be covered under BMW parts warranty -- if its not installed by a dealer
2yrs -- unlimited miles for parts warranty dealer installed -- 4yrs 50k i had mine installed at the dealer |

the shifter is an OE retro fit. so the warrenty WILL stand !
if this was not the case, BMW couldnt sell any retrofit sets untill every vehicle was out of warrenty period / 2 years.... ? Sounds counter intuitive. I couldnt imagine either a ssk would be the culprit for a blown engine, .. unless it made you into a race driver !
