wtf is going on with my car?

Here is the entire story....

I had run mods in the past including jb3, downpipes, intake, and was running pretty aggresive settings.

I had some wastegate trouble and decided to put this stuff to stock.

Got the wastegate actuator replaced, then i decided to run a procede belonging to a very nice guy who is a friend of mine and i am willing to write his name all over my car to show my thanks.

Okay back to topic, like 3 months ago i had 1 semi long crank that was maybe 3 seconds.

Then a week ago i had a long crank that was maybe 3.5 seconds.

ANYWAY this morning i turned on(well tried)my car and it cranked for 6 seconds and i got scared so i stopped. Then i tryed one more time and it cranked for 6 full seconds and turned on.....

the revs were jumping between 300-1000rpm and it was making this weird ass gurgly noise. So i quickly turned the car off, it seemed like it would turn off on its own...

I just got home and removed the procede, tryed turning the car on and the crank was normal(2 seconds).

However when it turned on it directly went into RPMs jumping between like 300-1000 and it felt like it was going to die.

Is this a HPFP or is something else wrong?

I tryed searching, nothing came up to this exact scenario where the car turned on without a long crank and made this weird ass deathly idol.

Come on man, you've been around the forums long enough to know those symptoms suggest your HPFP has gone to shit.

My SA had told me the same thing on my last hpfp replacement. They said it was a sensor and so they replaced the sensor and to their surprise my car was still showing rough start ups and long cranks. But the car was not throwing an hpfp error codes so they did not beleive the hpfp was the culprit (also without the codes its hard to get approval from BMW to replace the pump). So after a couple days of leaving my car there, they deicided to replace the hpfp and what a shocker the symptoms were gone after the replacement

My car has been up to par ever since.

yes on HPFP it cranks that long, but once you try to drive or kick down at once you going to get engine light immediately but i dont think procede anything to do with that.
