July 17th DDT Trackday details

One more trackday again supported by Durham BMW.

The details again are as follows:
Sunday July 12th -Educational Instruction day at BMW Durham 10am-1pm along with the pre-inspection of your vehicle. If you would like to join us in watching the Formula 1 races, please arrive at 8am. Lunch will be provided.This is highly recommended if you are a 1st time participant.

Friday July 17th-Track Day at Mosport in Bowmanville on the Driver Development Track 9-5pm. Please arrive at 8:30am for registration. Lunch will be provided.
The cost for the two part component full course is $349.00 plus tax .

If you are just interested in participating in the track day Friday July 17th, the price is $225.00 plus tax.A lunch will be provided.

Your own vehicle and helmet are required to drive on the track.

Professional photographers will also be on site for the track day to capture you in action offering photographs and videotapes of your track experience. A C.D copy of a picture slide show from the day is included as well.

You have experiance on the track?If so that will not be a problem to just do the 17th.

We are now full up for the day.We will run a waiting for those that still wish to run or just come out and spectate.Tenativley It looks like we will be running a Mosport GP big track day on Sept 23.Details will follow.

Are you signed up?If you have not sent money & confirmed a spot,you are out of luck.We are sold out for this event.

The classroom is to teach some high performance driving techniques that will be further taught & reinforced during the on track sessions on the 17th.

Well, too bad, I read this forum yesterday. Since this track event is sold out, can I just join the classroom training. I really like to follow the learning path of Gearhead999 and what he will be heading.

Glad you made it down from Ottawa.I hope it was a worthwhile trip for you.We had a very good class session today and Friday is shaping up to be a great day with the enthusiasm that was shown today.

Sounds good FBTO, no excuses here - I will even let the fact that you have course knowledge and have been on this track recently slide!

I have 4 tires, that is all I need. I will have my camera so, we can see how quickly you get taken.

Are any other M3's going to be there. It would make it easier to knock off a few of you guys at one event. Same me some time!

There will be a fair # of E9x M3's coming out this time.It looks like we have an instructor for every student which was quite the feat in its own right.We have 3 photography guys working the event so there will be lots of photos.Two of the instructors that will be helping out are both people that were hosts of shows that you probally watched on Speed TV at one time or another.It is shaping up to be a great day if our classroom session yesterday was anything to go by.
