Omaha, Nebraska auto shops?
To all:
I'm picking up my MR M3 coupe on Friday from Markel BMW in Omaha. Looking at all the mods on this board got me thinking if there are any good auto shops or if anyone can recommend any good auto shops? Looked in this category and the Midwest category. Thanks to all that reply! |

Sublime and John Martin at Omaha Sports Car Garage are good. I do small things like filters, brake fluids/pads, etc. do myself. Not hard on the e92.

sorry for the late response,,,
Depends, I like to order my stuff online. What do you want to have installed?? I will try to max out my front negative camber. So I will visit one of them soon, I could ask them. Just cannot decide if I really need the Dinan camber plates or not. (and with them maybe springs since the camber plate will lift the fornt a little bit.) |

Hi Jeff,
Are you tracking your car?? I try to be out at MAM every Friday morning. AW e92 M3Unfortunately on the upcoming Friday I cannot make it. I also plan to rent the whole track alone a couple of times. If you are interested to come out on those days just pm me. (Planning on Aug 10 or 12 maybe 13) Brembos would be awsome on the track I am sure. I found brake cooling as a major issue with the stock brakes (Carbotech XP-10 pads Castrol SRF fluid) I am thinking about springs myself. Found the Dinan little too expensive but it seems they give more of a performance tuning not just a visual one. The Dinan camber plates are really the ones Iam planning to get. |

I haven't ever tracked a car. I have owned a 335i, RX8 and miata and have never been on a track!
I unfortunately live about 70 miles northeast of Omaha so MAM is a drive I cannot make routinely. Anyway I would love to have someone in the area I can ask about car shops and which mods are worth it. This is my first "good" car! I'll have to PM you about the dates in August. Jeff |
