Any recommendation for 128i exhaust parts...
looks like there is no available plug and play exhaust for 128i now...
edit: as long as no CEL on the dashboard, I am thinking of doing muffler delete..... anyone have done this? Last edited by e82vette; 06-07-2009 at 04:31 AM.. |

I remember calling remus if the remus 135i muffler would fit on the 128i and they told me yes. i wasnt 100% percent confident so i went a different route. i love the sound of the remus though. Good luck |

i was looking to build a magnaflow cat back and went to magnaflows website to see if they had the muffler i still liked, the 3" double walled tips dual muffler.
Then i saw an ad for a free exhaust off from them, i clicked on it and saw they need a 128i for testing. I was lucky enough to get a call from them and got a free magnaflow cat back from them. Although I didnt get the tips i liked, im more than happy to have gotten the exhaust done and fitted to perfection. i check magnaflows website weekly to see if the catback ready for production (for others that might want one), but the website always says price tba. |

i believe the standard for our car and most cars is 2.25 inches, local muffler shop should verify it. should youtube different brands, its fun trying to guess what it might sound on your car. i always wanted to try flowmasters but those would get me into trouble here, have fun shopping.

the e92 exhaust took 2 yrs to come out. so perhaps next year for the 128i and for only 6hp from it, when there are other options out there i would rather get something else right now.
