Dealership Service
For you guys in the Houston area, what has been your experience with the local dealerships? Im getting euro delivery of my M3 sedan cause I get a military discount and I was curious how some of the dealerships are treating you guys...

Great service thus far with Advantage Midtown for me. I had used Momentum in the past (not an M3), they were ok I suppose, but I always got the feeling they were gouging me.

I get all the free warranty stuff done by Advantage downtown. However, I've had a few issues with them in the past. I didn't buy the car there, and I've always had a feeling that they treat you differently if you bought the car from them.

On north side, I used BMW Woodlands and North, not extremely happy with them. On M3 make sure, you request approval for test drive and leave a marker on your trunk to confirm. I did buy a 325 8yr ago from Advantage downtown, and to date they had the best sales service I experienced ( bought 6 new BMW in last 12 years).
I was thinking to take the M3 for service there (Advantage downtown)....

I get great service at Advantage BMW in Midtown from Hanza. He is my service advisor and always treats his M guys with special care. He has an E46 himself. Tell him Frank with the AW E92, recommended him if you decide to get service there.

I've taken my E92 to Momentum on SW and the first time I went there the SA was good, even gave me a loaner car of my choice when I walked in w/o calling ahead of time. Second time I called when I got a service light(Increased Emission) and that SA was no longer there, took it in and the SA was so-so, I didn't get a loaner car since I didn't call ahead of time and he promised it shouldn't take long to check the computer for the service light code. I got the car back in an hr or so and they couldn't find anything wrong and just re-set the computer and actually had the nerve to ask me if I used anything other then 92 octane - I was pissed, who in the hell would buy a +$65k car and be cheap on the gas. Needless to say 2 weeks later I got the same service light ... I think I'll try Advantage @ Midtown.
