do a google search on car wraps, there is some wild shit out there. Can put almost anything on the car, tiger stripes, camo, chain link. It is interstig but i wonder how well it hlds up and if it does anything to the finish

At least 3 G's, and that's mainly labor. Kind of steep if you ask me, but I'm considering doing the same to my car right now.
Here is a website that will sell rolls of vinyl that you can then have a local shop install (if you trust them enough). www.stickercity.com Hope that helps!
