One front, two rear Pirelli Euforia run-flats for sale
I don't really want to ship, so I am posting this locally first. I hit a pothole and killed one of the stock Pirelli runflats on my 128i sport. I decided to replace all the tires with General Exclaim UHP 225/45 r17 tires (non-staggered).
As such, the following tires will be available should anyone care to buy them: Pirelli Euforia Run-flats One (front) 205/50 r17 Two (rear) 225/45 r17 These have about 10k miles on them, with the rears worn a bit more than the front. Once I get the tires back, I will post the tread depths, asking prices, and pictures. If you want to see what happened to the busted front tire, check here: Link In case you were wondering, I am paying about $575 installed the new tires, as opposed to $340 for a single Pirelli... nuts. This is at Direct Tire. Just shoot me a PM if you may be interested.

If I was planning to stick with run-flats long term, it would have been worth it. This event just caused me to change over sooner than expected...
Tire information (as promised): Tread depth across the tire (measured at the outer blocks and on either side of center ring) 225 #1: 7/32--6/32--6/32--7/32 225 #2: 6/32--6/32--6/32--7/32 205 #1: 6/32--8/32--8/32--6/32 I prefer to sell the rears as a pair, but would consider splitting them. Asking prices (pickup only): All three: $150 Both 225s: $120 205 only: $60

My new tires, just for fun... I haven't washed the rims yet after the mounting, so they are a bit dirty

Did you actually buy the tires from Direct Tire or did you just have them mounted there? I once bought tires from Tirerack and Direct Tire mounted them for me but they weren't happy about it and were sure to let me know that.
Be sure to post your impressions with the new tires. |

I went ahead and bought the tires from there, there being the Natick location. It turned out to be $540 all in with a $20 off coupon I found on their website.
I figured that ordering from Tirerack, the tires would have been $405 shipped. So I essentially payed about $130 to have the tires mounted and balanced by a reputable place, which is not too bad. Also, buying from them gets you free flat repair, which may come in handy down the road. One I get a few hundred or a thousand miles on them, I will post something up. Once I bolt them back on the car, I will try to post some pictures as well. The front tires look slightly ballooned because the 225 are squeezed onto a 7" rim, but it really not very noticeable. I am looking forward to trying them out.

If anyone local wants this (the front tire), you can have it for free. You just have to make it convenient for me to get rid of. Just send me a PM if you are interested.
