Need help identifying hood bracket fasteners

Hi gang. The 2 brackets that lock the hood (not the one in the middle of the hood) are a little loose on my car, but when I tried to tighten them with a phillips screwdriver, they're not regular phillips. I could tighten them with a phillips, but will round them for sure. What the heck are they? Frearson? Your help is appreciated.

This car seems to be like my ex-BMW motorcycle, which had EVERY freaking kind of fastener known to man. But it didn't have this one . Thank you in advance for your help.

i dont think you can tighten them
i tried as my right one is a little loose
and the screw just spins
i think its just a fastner, not a proper screw
and i think they are meant to be a little loose so they adjust to the lock every time you slam the hood

Yep. And the whole thing is supposed to be a bit loose indeed.

Found the proper screwdriver: It's called 'pozidrive', size PZ2. That screw just prevents the plastic 'shroud' to come off. Once removed, the shroud pulls out, and the metal bracket can be screwed in or out to adjust the hood. It's perfectly adjusted on my M3, but nice to know it's so easy to adjust if needed. Thank you for your reply. Take care.
