Hey everyone I have a baby boy on the way so I'm thinking about selling my coupe. Garage kept, 821 miles. I've been following break in to perfection. Every option, except extended leather, power rear sunshade, and cold weather. I did get the heated seats, but hated the look of the window washers on the bumper. The dealer offered me $61K on a trade in. I'm looking for over $65K, but am open to reasonable offers. I paid over $73K out of the door two weeks ago. The car is mint. I will keep the car if I don't get a reasonable offer. Thanks for everyones interest.
Chris

If dealer offered you 61k and if you really want to get rid of it, I say go trade (I would recommend keeping it though).

70k msrp at invoice (about 64k-65k) price with new interest rate final cost maybe cheaper than 65k at used interest rate final cost.

Seriously, keep it. You'll end up paying for car payments you don't even own.

I will probably just keep the car at this point. It would be just too much to lose over 10k in two weeks of ownership on a trade. I guess I better figure out what baby seat will fit if I can't sell it. Thanks everyone for the help.

Baby seat will fit. All 3er coupes have harness for it on the backseats. It's just going to be painful each time. (and will leave marks on the back seats).

Get nice recaro baby seats or euro spec BMW baby seats to match the theme right.

If you're leasing your M3 coupe, you maybe able to find lease trade with M3 sedan owners.

been trying to find one of those euro spec bmw baby seats, cant find anywhere to get them from, not even the ISOFIX. Cant find anyone to tell me if our e92s are ISOFIX equipped or not.

get a britax marathon. I have that in my e92 and it's much better than the recaro. I went back and forth between the two.

That is a subjective statement. I tend to find the sedan a better looking, and more practical option.

Remember: Opinions are like a$$holes, everybody has one.

My advice to the original poster. Go with the Sedan, and procure a rear-facing car seat, situated in the middle rear, anchored to the isofix. We have been using our M3 as our primary "troop transport" for our 10 month old baby girl. With my long legs (I'm 6'1"), the drivers side is tight in the back, but for normal people, the rear provides ample space for a child.

I bought her a German spec Recaro "Young Expert Plus" and the Recaro Isofix base, but after reading extensive research regarding rear and front facing crash data, I opted to reposition her back to the rear in her old car seat. A note for folks reading this article: The Recaro isofix base will not fit in the center of a 3 series Bimmer. The driveshaft tunnel will not allow it to fit. It can only be positioned in the right or left rear seat positions.

Still for sale. PM me best reasonable offers. Car is still in Maryland with GT2 exhaust. Car will have stock exhaust if the GT2 sells before the car. Currently 1800miles
