Question FMIC and ACC (Automatic Cruise Control) - which ones ?

Hi,

Although new to the board, I have searched, and draw close to blank about which FMIC that works combined with the ACC (Automatic Cruise Control). Now one might suggest to remove or just move the radar eye - that is not an option. So I am trying to find out which that will work...

Anyone have any experience with this ?

Tjena!
I think you should first look from under the car how much space that eye takes and its fitment to the oem intercooler. than i would find a 335i owner with an intercooler and see if too much space is taken away . Basically compair the space and see if you can fit an aftermarket intercooler without having to remove the eye.

The VK FMIC is basically a stock replacement... it's a direct fit so it shouldn't be a problem. Ask Vince! They should have a GB up soon too.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to remove it if I paid for it either.

Race Precision (RPi) has one that looks close to stock as well.

I had the same problem with the ACC module infront of the car, I ended up removing it while installing the huge AA intercooler

Oh shit! I have a pending 5" ETS FMIC install (waiting for ETS to replace with proper black elbow instead of the mismatched blue they sent).
I never even considered my ACC, but don't see why it would not fit...

Will report back.
