Bavarian Scanner Help plz..
Hi i just got my scanner last night and I scanned my car and few codes showed up so i did the clear all fault codes option. And than i scanned the car again and it showed up the same codes. I also looked at the imformation tab on the program and where it saids registered VIn it doesnt show anything. Do i need to activate the vin number? The car finds the vin at first when i boot the software and i press ok. Any help would be nice. And by means 3 vin per cable how can i register the vins.
This is what i did. Pluged the cable in computer and car, than press the start ignition button without the brakes pedal so i get a ! mark on dashboard. Than i start the BT program and than it finds my vin # thani poress ok and choose the detected engine MSD80/81 than i press simple test than delete all fault codes..Codes are not seeming to delete when i rescan i get those codes back. Does just plugging in the cord activate the 1 vin usage or do you need to activate it somehow in order to delete the codes. Thanks

Some codes are persistent, meaning that just because you cleared the code, it didn't clear the problem that caused the code. Therefore it will poop right back up.
As ^^^ said, what codes are you getting, and equally as important, what are your mods?
