I've read it a few times, but maybe it's wrong.. but I've used both (cool and warm bulbs) and the warmer always seemed to perform better in shitty conditions (fog/heavy snow)

If yellow lights are good enough for ALMS cars they are good enough for me. It's common car knowledge that yellow cuts through fog better, & reflects off water/ice with less glare.
You'd think the ignorant JDM comments would have died down by now..

It may well seem that the physics of yellow vs white light may be better in fog but the OP prefers it as a cosmetic 'mod'. each to their own of course and no offence originally intended just my 2pence worth in search for why its cool?
