difference between AFE Filters

On their website there's 2 different types of air filters for the 335.

54-11472
Stage 2
$418.95

and

54-11473
Stage 2
$523.95

significant price difference. But why? AFE decided to put the exact same description for both, leaving me completely blind as a potential customer.

can anyone help me out and explain the differences, last thing I would want to do is buy the cheaper one with out knowing the upgraded one is worth the price (if it is upgraded).

Here's the website
http://afepower.com/shop/application...335i&year=2007

most likely buying the one on Jlevi or **********s anyway because of their price.

Thanks

One appears to have the cold air scoops, the other doesn't.

I clicked on the installation instructions for the ...3 product and it showed the DAS scoops. I did a search for the ...2 product and it showed the DAS scoops as something you might want.

I decided to check out the product weights and that sure seems to be the case. ...3 7 lbs, ...2 6 lbs, and air scoops 1 lb.

Yep that's right, one is an intake/scoop combo and one is just the intake.

I want whatever you're smoking if you're going to spend $500 on an intake lol

especially the AFE!!

-You don't get that cool "whoosh" noise that everyone likes so much
-The filters rub on the insulation under your hood (assuming you don't have an 09)
^ It actually molds it self into the pad
-Filters are smaller than most others
-Looks cheap in engine bay
-How could it be sucking that much air in if 50% of each filter is flush against the insulation under your hood?

Save your time & money lol I had an AFE, get vishnu cones or BMS or something
