Tuning Shop near DC, MD, VA area??

Hey, I am looking to install some of the mods I got recently to start modding my 335i project. Is there any good (price-wise, skill-wise) shops out there in DC area?

Thanks!!

PTuning - (in Manassas, near the 234 bypass and 28 (Courthouse, Harley dealer))
http://www.ptuning.com/
http://www.ptuning.com/html/full_servicing.cfm
http://www.ptuning.com/html/showroom.cfm

Mach V motorsports - (near Dulles Airport, close to Dulles Town Center.)
http://www.machv.com/
http://www.machv.com/howdoigetthere.html
(These guys started out as a DSM tuner, so you'll find a lot of web references to talon/eclipse/evo/etc. But if you do a walk-in visit, you'll see they are broader than that).

P.S. They're both good shops, and they both do all kinds of cars (from DSMs to Porsche... whatever).

I'm probably further north than you. I decided to take a road trip up to Helix for the day soon to install their IC and AR DP's.

With those kinds of mods you're pretty safe wherever.

The installation process for both is basically : unhook it, swap, rehook it.
You don't have to go digging around in a lot of stuff.

(If you had an XI, the DP install could be trickier though...)

You're pretty much talking about tubes in both cases. And since you have an i, both are easily accessible for anyone with a lift. No biggie.

(Thinks to self : The height-adjustment/load-balancing, and alignment should be done at a shop.)

we can get it done, but he's right, you want to get an alignment right after, plus there is no way we are going to corner balance.

empty garage floor...
masking tape...
string...
maybe some chalk line and a laser...
a reliable, large triangle...
90 degree protractor...

and

patience.

you can do it!
(I would laugh if you tried... would love to see the results)

you have an intercooler or other mods where any of the couplings/clamps/hoses have been touched?

Nothing at all...I was at the track (road course) and sometime during a lap it threw a limp. I restarted and any time it would (try to) build boost it would throw a limp and underboost 30FF. You could tell it wasn't actually boosting, the car was SLOW. I tried it a few more times and it was intermittent, now I seem to be fine, but I'm wondering why it happened and whether it will happen again...

it probably limped due to oil temps if I had to guess......but a boost leak test cant possibly hurt.
