For those with EISENMANN RACE with AT

I'm wondering for those who have eisenmann race on their e92 335i with AT is there a lot of drone or is it ok? Any feedback will be appreciated..thanks

My friend has this exhaust and he has crazy droning - he is considering going back to stock exkaust...

I've heard drone can be a problem at low rpm's for the auto guys.

Even I have drone at times..usually in 5th gear at low rpm. I'm 6MT though.

I actually like a little drone. Call me crazy...that's why I like racy sounding exhausts. You probably don't want Eisenmann Race if comfort is your goal.

It is the Worst! Just took mine off as the resonance was awful starting at 1800rpm. Dont get me wrong, the sound is intoxicating and there is nothing like it, but it is not for someone with an automatic.

eisenmann...except for the drone, i love the sound of the exhaust during start up, idle, and wide open throttle (especially under bridges and thru tunnels)

hmm i dunno about droning cuz i have AT and whenever i drive my gf around (she hates how my car is soo loud) i usually just use the steptronic to get to another gear which usually eliminates the drone.

Bad enough that I had to order a Sport to replace my Race! Don't get me wrong, everything else is superb except the drone at around 2K rpm. Notice that I am still with Eisenmann!
