Im guessing thats because you couldnt find anyone with Vreds in the sizes you want, huh?? Shame cos i think you would have liked them. Still, you like and know the conti's so if it aint broke and all that. Hope you got them for a good price, otherwise you should have held out for the Vreds and given them a go.

Sad fact, It's going to cost you as much in tyres as fuel. Thats 12 tyres to do 20000 miles, say £200 tyre = £2400. 'Sad statto' PJS

Prob be after some Conti3's me sen

just been down the local 'under the arches' tyre guys to look at a leaking rear Eagle f1...goes down about 10PSi every few days.

yep a nail on the inside edge... needs replacing.
They have done well covering 18,000

one of the fronts is bit iffy. so need at least 3. Since I have these fitted the Eagle F1pattern has changed

So i'm looking at a set of 4
235/35Y19F
265/30Y19R

They have offered a full set of Conti sport contact3s at £920
or
some Kumho KU31 at £570

OR what do you suggest?

cheers I be happy with £800 for a 225/255 set fitted

I must drive like a granny then...18k from the rears and they are still legal and averaged 42mph over the last 30k

Maybe the little box from Imran will change that :-)

Knew a guy that had a 4.5 cerbera its ate tyres sooo fast

I bet that is one mellow lump of wood! I stupidly didn't work out the 335/355 reference until you put it in print. Dooh!
