What is there to do in San Jose?
Hey SJ!
I am visiting Dinan and was wondering what there is to do in SJ or maybe in San Fran. I am staying for a week but will only be available after 7pm to do things. Let me know thanks! |

SJ there's not too much to do compared to SF. I'd go to Santana Row which I think techincally is the next town over (Santa Clara). A bunch of shops and boutiques along with places to eat outside and to look at some nice cars depending on the day. In the city there's all the touristy things ie.. golden gate bridge, fisherman's wharf, union square, etc.. Try doing a search and you'll find posts from other people who threw out their suggestions. |

SJ during the day...malls--> Valley Fair....or Happy Hollow Zoo Night: Santana Row, and you can check out downtown I would suggest Fondue at La Fondue in downtown Saratoga...beautiful at night Hakone Gardens in Saratoga for Japanese Gardens.... Driving out to Santa Cruz is fun... though beware of cops on the freeway... If you want to do a canyon run take 85 South to Foothill Expy (280N) exit and head (east)???? away from the Trader Joes and go straight up to the reservoir--> that'll take you up to skyline great canyon run country (Map this out right and it'll take you to Santa Cruz too) |

Highway 1 up the coast, plenty of beaches and good food. Santa Cruz, halfmoon bay and if you get to Marin take the drive to Stinson Beach over Mt. Tam.
