Do sway bars need any type of adjustments after they've been installed? Any tightening of the nuts and bolts after X number of miles?
I'm in LA, and would drive down to San Diego, but wasn't sure what type of adjustments, if any were needed post-install. Thanks... ________ JAILBROKEN Last edited by HappyG; 05-17-2011 at 02:27 AM.. |

The only kind of maintenance I ever performed on my rear bars were re-lubing them every year. They got kind of squeaky after a while.

If the H&R's are adjustable like the sway barbarians, you'll be constantly tempted to fiddle with them .... or at least I always was. Never had a problem with them getting squeeky though.

all the nuts bolts used in this install are either locking nuts or I locktight them so after the install you should not re torque anything and the only maintenance you have to do is lube the bushings every now and then, this set of swaybars are very low maintenance |

I'm rolling on the stock sport suspension, and am not considering a drop right now - would front and rear sways still make a difference? I'm on this if you can tell me that it really does!

Will anyone like to post a DIY for the rear sway install. Someone has posted some pics but never really got into detail about what steps are involved. I know that lowering the sub frame is involed...
