you know the chestnut looks more brown in pictures than in person. In person chestnut has more of a reddish look....great combo minus the wood

I preferred the wood compared to the aluminum or piano with this color combination. I am planning on replacing the trim with either the carbon fiber wrap or the trim from the M3 sedan once it goes through its LCI update.

Cost cutting. Vehicles produced in March and thereafter now come with that empty space in the console as the default configuration. If you prefer the ashtray with cover then you need to add the smoker's package to your configuration. Unfortunately BMW NA did not effectively convey this info about the ashtray delete to their end-users.

Yea, its wack! There is no power underneath that tray so don't bother wasting your time looking for it.
