To Fit or not to Fit????

Hi guys,

Just recieved my K&N Panel Filter today and was wondering if i should fit it or not as i Have herd some bad things about them on here. any suggestions??

Is it oiled, is it oily on the inside?

Evn if oil contaminates the MAF, spraying electrical cleaner should clean it okay.

Yeah it is factory oiled. You think it'll be fine to fit then?

in past on my vags K&N killed about 4 mafs the oil slowly burned out the mafs, I've since then swapped to piper cross who arrive dry and you only have to oil the filter yourself on the outside.

FInd that a bit safer

i'va had my K&N from Ant@Speed Religion on for about 10k miles, and no problems - sounds a bit healthier too!
