Question D/FW M3 owners with exhaust: what type do you have?

Was getting ready to order an exhuast, and I wanted to know wht you locals had. I'd love to hear some examples in person before making my decision. So, what ya got?

edit: I am interested in E9x applications!

Thanks!

i know guys with eisenmann, AA, and remus. i'm running stock cans with a custom H-pipe, which sounds pretty decent while keeping quiet in the neighborhood. here's what it sounds like:

i don't work so if you would like to hear it sometime, i'm game. i live in uptown

I'll definately have to hear it sometime. I've got an E90 on order and I am planning on it being my daily, so it can't be too loud all the time.

I was hoping someone would have the Meisterschaft system, haha....

well if you're not trying to blow a mortgage payment on an exhaust (aka eisenmann) and keep the noise under control, my setup is definitely the cheapest option, but if you want a bolt-on kit, remus sport would be a nice middle of the road solution. it's only about $1000 and has a nice sporty grumble. i used to have basically straight pipes and you don't want that. it was highly obnoxious. here's that clip:

Actually someone does have a meisterschaft system around the dfw area..he invited me to come hear it but i live kinda far away so I couldn't listen to it. He says it sounds amazing..he's out of the country right now but his name on here is 'ssh229' I'm sure he'd be glad to give you a demo of his exhaust..

Btw I posted in your other thread!

I have the Meisterschaft and I have to say, the videos on you tube do not do these exhaust systems justice although they even sound hot in the videos. If you get the chance to find someone local, you should def check it out in person!

Thx! At this point I'm leaning towards the RPi (header-back), Gintani (powdercoated black header-back) or Agency Power (axle-back). I want something LOUD but has to sound good/tasteful/classy not just loud only, LOL! It's my weekend toy so I don't care about dealing w/the loudness on a daily basis.

haha! i started out with my m3 being my weekend car but then i got my exhaust installed...now i want to drive it every day lol!!

All three choices are good..but gosh that RPI exhaust is insane, I probably would have gotten that if it was out when i bought my eisenmann

LOL, even w/it being bonestock (umm, does air scoops & an aFe dry filter count as true perf. mods? haha!) right now, I wanna drive it everyday!...Unfortunately I drive way too much during the weekday to justify it (I avg. 22k-24k miles annually). Eisenmann sounds nice!

I'll be getting the full AA treatment when I finally order my E90 M3. That is the AA Signature exhaust combined with the AA catless X-pipe. The youtube vids on this exhaust are so convincing

Decided to go with the full Akrapovic system. Just thought I'd update this thing, seeing as I'm the OP.

Less than 20 days....!
