I am not sure about rubbing.

But with that setup, the diameter difference between the fronts and rear is .857%. It is pretty close to the 1% limit.

It's been done. I ran it. Xi can come staggered from Bmw so you're good. On a side note I'm selling almost brand new falken 452 265-30-19. On the car for a week before I changed up to 275. Pm me if you want them and we can work out a price

Should be no problem for xi with your setup. However, it also depends on the offset of your wheels.

yes size will be fine rubbing will depending on the off set of the wheels. I run 235/35's and 265/30's on 19's with no issues also have H&R coilovers.

So why does leasing suck and what does that have to do with tires rubbing and the xi. It seems you hate three things:

1. your car
2. your tires
3. leasing.

So now what?

from what i understand xi sits higher than an i? and xi does not come with sport package (not sure about that one, though).

and wtf? you just got your car and already think that leasing sucks? why is that?

You can certainly get ZSP on xi models, but it doesn't include the sport suspension as it does on the non-xi models - just the seats, wheels, and sport steering wheel (and shadowline trim on the pre-LCI models).

Anyway, how does leasing pertain to your wheels? You can put whatever wheels you want on there, as long as they're taken off when you return the car. Just sell the wheels at that time and make some money back. No big deal.

Only Firm suspension option is xi coupe

I test drove a couple xi sedans with the sport package (07's) and they felt too soft for me. The xi coupe has a firmer suspension than the sedans. I don't know if it's as firm as the non AWD sport package tho.
The xi sedans felt like I had a layer of jello between me and the road.
FWIW.

That means your tire choices had a difference of 1.05% in rolling diameter. You need to research the tires not the rims. Find tires that fit those rims and are within 1% of each other's diameter front to back.

BTW tire rack lists all the tire diameters so you can simply shop around on there to see what front sizes fits what back sizes in overall diameter.

I went 245 up front to close the gap in the size difference with the 275 just incase... no rubbing at all.

the rear fender needs to be rolled for it not to rub, but i didn't end up keeping the wheels anyway so i didnt' bother.

You have an E90 - the E92 has less room and can require rolling.
