Tire protection

So I had just bought my new e92 like 4 weeks ago and when I was signing the papers they kept telling me to get the tire protection plan so I said no many times.... Now I need\want it... Can I go back and get that, do I have a certain amount of time that I can?.. Let me know thanks..

Forget the protection plan. Protect yourself and improve your car by putting that money towards a set of high end non run-flat tires.

protection plan is useless because if you decide to change rims next year or something, you wont be covered by the plan anymore.. so you'll be stuck with oem rims and tires until the end of your protection plan.

That is correct, you can search the forum for reports of people who had had problems when they interpreted the degree of protection in a liberal manner. The protection package is OK if you plan to use BMW rims and tires and no others. In summer, the protection package is only good for the wheels the car was delivered with, and perhaps other summer tires and rims sold by BMW. In winter, the package only covers the winter tire packages sold by BMW.
