Went from 16" stock rft to 19" wheels question!

Hi everyone,

I recently went from 16" stock run flat to Alufelgen CS7 19" wheels (staggered) with generals tires

I've noticed that at cruising speed I feel like my car handles worse...
The steering wheel is not as hard to turn anymore....

Is it just me or its because I switched from rft to non runflat?

and oh... and my car feels much slower

if the wheels are heavier and you have wider tires, you would definitely feel slower...

as for the worse handling, my experience with low profile tires is that they tend to pull the steering wheel left and right a lot more when traveling over rough surfaces...

i think this is normal. your steering weight shouldnt drop though

Overall outside tire diameter

Hello, What was the size of the 16" OE tire, and what size 19" are you using currently ? The 19" tires are probably much larger in overall diameter, thus significantly changing overall gearing.

did you get the car realigned after mounting? FAIL. Yeah bigger wheels affect the final gearing plus the speedo is likely to be off.
