Whats up with M3 drivers?
Why is it when you pass any M3 (new or old) drivers they don't want to show what a M3 can do. They all seem to drive like they are Sunday drivers. No fun at all.

Seriously, it depends on the road, the limit and the mood of the driver. I get passed by fecking KA's but only if I want to let them...

thats because m3 drivers are cocks
I had a nice run with an e92 m3 this evening. From 2nd gear it was neck and neck ALLLLLL the way and it was DSG The best part, is when you pull up to them, and he asks, "what have you done to that" priceless

[u2b]v=kZJd_Ewq5cg[/u2b] had a nice spirited drive with a yellow 05 Gallardo today. dont think he had enough bottle (or points left ) to take it to a high enough speed (over +110ish kmh) for me to see the back of him ....and before you guys say it im not a crazed 335i fanboy even tho i might have one, nor am i the petrol version of the DXB supercar killler! just think its remarkable how a regular coupe mildly tuned can hold its own against some serious metal!!! maybe if it was a Gallardo SE it might have been a different story... ready for the flaming Edit: Forgot to say that the driver waved to me too which was cool, top bloke! I was passed by a wee put-put Pizza delivery scooter that was slip-streaming me, inches from my rear bumper in town yesterday - weaving/leaning in and out like a racer. Cloud of two stroke. We must have been doing just over 20 mph. Didn't bother me in the slightest. Made me smile. Glad to be notched up as a another "kill" for him. I didn't buy a 335D to show others what it can do. I bought it for me. D.

LOL.
It may be the ''Little man syndrome'' But if a guy buys a 335 whether it because he cannot afford a M3 or didnt want the M3, he still knows its a ''better car'' and after some fettling of his own car would like to beat one. nothign wrong with that. Thats what every car modifier in the country does. Now if I had a E92 M3, id prob be wary of 335's.... On the other hand, id prob give it the biggest going and use those 414 ponies to the max. Whether i got mullered on not wouldnt matter, i would still be driving the M3 home. Just like M3 drivers prob go after Porsche drivers and the like. Its a never ending circle. The underdog will always want to put up a good fight. The Top Dog, is not always willing to risk His title of ''The Man'' The E60 M5 is very much an underdog compared to cars that are as quick as it. Thats why you always see them giving it the beans, Imagine ''Doin'' a ferreri in one, HOW COOL would that be.

Not quite, engine is back in the car, this (pictures) was being fitted last Fri (all hand made) and it needs to be mapped this week, then run-in. Still trying to source a new Reg plate, would love to get "D335 LOL"
Carl, I know what your saying but beleive me the novelty does wear off and as you mature (I don`t mean this in a derogatory way) you`ll tire of it and soon start to feel that you just want to be left alone. |

Probably because an M3 owner has nothing to prove...?
I usually find that peeps with the "fast" cars [out of the box] don't tend to drive about like their pants are on fire; it's generally those who have had theirs fiddled with who always seem to have something to prove. Still, keeps them happy no doubt! |

LOL hmmm, maybe its just the chavs who can now get the mitts on an E46...?
That said, it's normally a certain "type" of driver who just needs to push it and prove something though. |
