Exclamation Northern Meet 2 Lunch Arrangements!!

I've booked the Foresters Arms in Grassington at 1.30pm on Saturday 25th.

They do a good range of wholesome pub grub at reasonable prices. We tried the food today and it was good. The portions are very generous, so unless you eat a lot, caution is advised!

To assist them in preparing food on a busy Saturday, and speed things up at our end, they have asked that people pre-order.

I've attached a link to their menu.

http://www.forestersarmsgrassington....lunch_menu.php

Please select what you want from this and PM me no later than Sunday 19th April, as I have to telephone the order through to them. No order no food!! To help me keep track, please title all PMs for this as FOOD ORDER.

Thanks

Gav

Hey Guys! I've sent RockIt a PM for my lunch requirements AS REQUESTED by him about three times but only two others have replied.

Could you pm him or post on this thread at least to say if you want lunch (preferably also say what you want from the menu listed) because if he books X number of places and half of you are no-shows it could become awkward and embarrassing for him and since he's done all the work and arranged everything, I think we owe it to him to do this one simple thing.

The alternative is to go ad hoc in which case if you all turn up expecting lunch - tough!

So come on, post your lunch presence here!

Is there a choice of menu 'up North' I thought the only option is pie, chips and mushy peas.

Gav, good luck in organising the day!

Gibbo, there are subtle variations on the pie, chips and mushy pea combos available!

I fancied the fillet steak but it doesn't give a weight so didn't bother. Don't like mushrooms otherwise would have gone for that.
