E90 LCI wheels/offset?

okay, before saying "use the search button"...just want to let you guys know that I did, but really no definitive answer. I did run across alfuegen calculations but I want to see actual pix and set up.

so anyone in here know what the offset is for aftermarket wheels for the lci without modification(ie. rolling fenders, shaving etc.)? post pics if you have them pls.

Keep in mind, some of these cars have had very aggresively rolled fenders

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=247171

I think 30 to 35+ offset is the sweetspot without having to do major fender rolling.

Since the LCI's do have a widened track, we opted to recommend the 9.5" +45 offset to steer clear of any possibly rubbing issues for customers. With a 9.5" +45 offset you can run up to a 275 without a problem. If you are looking for a nice flush fitment, a small 5mm hub centric spacer can be used to virtually lower the offset to a +40.

If you have any further questions, dont hesitate to PM me.

i dont think et45 is the proper offset for the lci's. They will still be very tucked in. The widened track isnt 15mm more. If people follow that advice they will be unhappy with the fitment and with the person who recommended it.I think a 35 should be near perfect. As far as the vmr fitment I guess you are right but I think they should know ahead of time that a spacer up to 10mm will be required for a proper looking fitment. my 2 cents.

like i said, i haven't found a definitive answer to my question. people say 45, some say 33-38. but i think 45 is a little too high even with the widened track of the lci that sounds like it's gonna be tucked in, way in...but hey i'm not an expert.

where are my peeps with rims on their lci at????

You think +45 is too high, you know +30 or lower (in number) needs fender rolling.

I can tell you some people needed little fender rolling with a +33.

Because of this I ordered my Advan's in +35 9.5" rear, and I'll be using a 265/35 tire.

ET45 is not the appropiate offset for the LCI and shouldn't be recommended. It will look very tucked in. The LCI is only 8mm wider per side and based on previous fitments the offset should be between ET35 -ET38, not ET45.

I would have to agree with you, Fotios. An offset of ET45 it is very conservative and will look tucked in on the LCI.

I would recommend to find an offset close to ET38 or wait for LCI offsets to be released. Running an ET45 with lack of concavity or the need of spacers might result in a unsatisfied purchase. Wheels should be made specifically for your car, that fit properly without the need of spacers.

The LCI runs the same fenders as the pre-LCI but the rear track was widened by 16mm, meaning 8mm per side. pre-LCI offsets varied from 27-30mm thus we recommend an offset between ET35-ET38. If you are not willing to roll your fenders, shave your wheels or run spacers, I would recommend waiting a few months until LCI offsets are released to guarantee a perfect fitment on your BMW.
