And probably a dark set of BMW accessory wheels. we have the 128s now and although getting new tires every 10k is a bitch they look too damn good not to do it again.

we went to our local unveiling last week and we cant wait to get it.

And just for the hell of it in case u care the 7 we have now is:

Convenience Pack
Comfort Access
Shades
Rear Entertainment
Sat Radio
HD Radio
BMW Style 128 wheels

I'll be sad to see that car go because its the car i learned to drive in but im sure ill be able to grow to love the new one too

On previous 7 series models, BMW offered wheels like the style 128 with 285 front and 325 rear. I have yet to see them offer anything that wide on the new 7 series. I've looked through the parts database, accessory documentation, spare parts lists, you name it. It may be related to the new active steering in the back that they no longer offer the really wide tires for the new models (F01/F02). The up to 3 deg angle in the back may cause the wide tires to start rubbing against the chassis?!?

I have access to the parts databases and all the accessories too. BMW does not currently offer anything wider than 245 in the front and 275 in the back.

Style 128 for the previous generation 7 series had 285 front and 325 back wheels which look pretty mean on the car. But as per my previous post, I think that maybe due to the active integral steering in the back on the F01/F02, that they don't offer these for the new 7 series. Besides, IMHO style 128 looks a bit dated by now.

Who knows, maybe in a year or more they will come out with some new designs that are wider than the 245/275 combination they currently offer on the F01/F02 series.

You can see all currently offered rims (including those that are listed in the accessories catalog) in my other thread:

http://www.7post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=247376

I created that thread so people can visualize what the different styles look on the F01/F02.
