SOLD =o( And defected to les onions.....
can't make my mind up what I feel... Have just agreed a sale on my marvellous 335i Although I've had it for less than two years (which is a lot compared to some of you guys who change cars every two weeks... steve...!) I've pretty much taken it to the limit in terms of what it can do performance wise. I like my cars to be projects, to see what the ultimate potential is, and the thing is I get bored once I've got there Although I've broken into the 12s over the 1/4 mile, which I'm extremely happy about, and despite the car performing well at the Nurburgring, and also despite the car being arguably the quickest E9x 3 series in the UK at the moment, I've had an offer that I can't possibly refuse and so have agreed to part ways Not to fret too much though - I already have my next car on order and modifications planned It's going to be a corker... good looks, continental handling, gallic comfort... I just hope it doesn't smell too much of garlic

Bloody hell Tony - you've only just stepped into the role of technical mod and now you've gone and bought a Laguna.......... I knew you were thinking about it, but didn't know you would actually do it!!

A cracking choice Tony, I too have decided to chop my car in. What with the rising second hand car prices, my dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse when it was in having the DPF changed yesterday. After having it for six months now, I have effectively lost only £1000, and in the current financial climate the wife and I have decided to get something that is cheaper to run, hope to be back in the BMW fold in a few years time though when things start to settle down.

Surely you should have waited until after the Nurburgring trip?

You WILL break the Renault if you tune it the same way as the BM.
Sorry to see you leave the brand though E92Fan. |

I agree with that choice too. The Laguna handles much better than the e9x and only a little bit slower.
