Those with 3-piece wheels, TPM question

Where you you guys mounting your TPM sensors? The factory way of mounting them won't work because the valve stem comes out the middle of the wheel. My Forgelines have some sort of adapter that brings the air filler thing to the front of the wheel but the hole where the valve stem exits is pretty much right in the middle of the wheel.

unfortunately, band clamps might be the only solution to hold the tpms. unless you want to drill a hole in the drop point....but it's very tricky and i don't recommend doing it if you are not experienced......

i have to find a picture of what i'm talking about, if I can.........

For my Enkreuz 3-piece I bought the iForged TPMS adapters. The units mount a little bit offset of the middle of the cylinder, no problems whatsoever.

no use of band clamps? trying to find what these look like now...

found them. Those 90 degree ones look like they would do the trick.

Search for iForged TPMS adapters... there's a Vendor here that sells them. And, no... no band clamps required. They are setup so that the TPMS unit is pressed against the cylinder like it should be. I've driven ~12k miles and over 130mph (in Europe) with this setup, so it's durable.

I'm afraid Band Clamps or TPMS adaptors are the only way to go. If installed properly both will perform as advertised, with no noticeable difference during driving.

Thanks all. Going to try the TPMS adapters, the band clamps are scary. I have already had one TPMS break loose but that was because of how the tires was put on originally. They would probably be fine but I will be in there replacing a bad sensor so I will give the adapters a shot, they seem like a much better solution.
