Squeaky Brakes?

My brakes squeal at 11,000 miles. How long do brakes last on these cars? Because I am not a heavy brake user. Could it be that I just need to hit it with a power wash?

Depends on the kind of squeak. Could be from your driving habits (glazed pads/rotors), or it could be sensor squeak. Take your front left and rear right tires off and see if the brake wear sensor is touching the rotors.

mine sounds like a whistle upon acceleration, coming from the rear right wheel. It had done it around 11K, now it's back again at 21K. What can I say, the car goes too fast and needs a lot of brakings.
