Well. How many people already have Hartge or ACS already?

? Depends. I think ACS looks nice on darker colors but not on light colors. Then Hartge or better yet Breyton.

For example I think that almost every pic I've seen posted here of aftermarket rims looks awful and far worse than stock but the OP doesn't agree and why should they care?

Hi whippersnapper:
I also like to get opinions from my peers. Its not that I don't have confidence in my judgement, it is just to re-assure my thoughts already, and, perhaps bring to light any considerations I should have. For example, lets say I like a certain bodykit (Breyton) in terms of style, and didn't know what it is made of (fiberglass in this case) it would be good information for me to have that it is made of fiberglass, because practically, looks aside, a lot of people don't want to deal with the chance of cracking a fiberglass product. That would, and in my case did, rule out OEM Breyton bodykits. It would be very helpful in this case if someone would point that out I see what you're saying but I do not think most of us here are overly concerned about what others think. Another example, if I'm shopping with someone, whether it be a friend or my wife, or sibling, and I like a shirt, I'll say, "hey what do you think of this." If I think the shirt is awesome, it probably wouldn't matter if they told me it was the ugliest shirt on the planet, I'd still buy it. But if i was say 50/50 on it, and they said it was absolutely horrible, yeah I probably wouldn't buy it. Afterall, why risk looking crappy for a shirt that I was only on the fence with to begin with? I take your point tl, but when you are with your friends is different. Despite the familiarity of the internet most people here are total strangers. Unless I am most unlike other people, I put entirely weights on the value of an opinion depending on where it comes from.

Surprised noone has mentioned this, if it's just for the front lip I don't think many would still vote for ACS.
Between the two I prefer Hartge front lip. And ACS definitely is better on darker colors. Hartge works on all colors but I prefer it on a darker car aswell just because it hides the seams on that type of addon. I didn't vote. |
