128 loaner

I just wanted to share, I really was impressed by this car. The power was more than I expected.

If you are shopping for a 128 @ Prestege Motors you might want to pass on a Black on black, non sport, auto with boston leather and nav. It had only 10 miles on it, and It saw the redline. J/k, i'm sure she is just fine. I just wanted to seat the rings...

The 6MT is even better.

It won't plaster you to the seat but it forces you to run through the gears properly which is always fun.

My SA said that a 6spd sport 128i is a blast. I would probably agree...

my brother's got a AW 128i 6MT, it is definitely a very fun car and it has that classic silky smooth BMW inline 6 feel that is kinda lost in the turbos of the 135. I was going to just get a 128 but I found a 135 with almost no options and I could lease that or a fairly well equipped 128 so you all know which car wins that! but yes very nice car, I would recommend highly to anyone- esp with the new ZMT pack

No argument here...

I am extremely happy with my 128i 6MT. Plenty of smooth, usable power and yes, it does beg you to rev it and go through the gears. Reminds me of my '91 318iS, even though it was only a 4, it was a fun ride. I only wish I knew what a great car it was when I had it. I have been seeing a lot of articles on the 318iS lately. In addition to BMW's 2002 marketing jingle, I consider the 1 series to be a spiritual successor to the E30 sports models before they got fat and luxurious. Now, if I can swing the intake and exhaust and get rid of those run flats.......
