Spacers

Sorry if this has been discussed before - but have any UK E92 M3 owners put spacers on their cars?? Im wanting to bring the rims out from the arches but i cant decide what size spacers to go with?? Ive seen on some of the US threads that some owners have gone with 15mm and 12mm - but i really want to keep the track the same front and rear so will go with either 15mm all round or 12mm all round. Any thoughts?? Any pics would be awsome too!!! Thanks.

15mm Front and 12mm rear are the norm size for E9X M3s running spacers. The OE offsets are +29 Front and +23 Rear so running the 15/12 or an even 12/12 would be fine, nothing wrong with that.

majority of M3ers are going with 15mm in the front and 12mm in the back. I am probably going to go 12mm all around. if you do a search you will find some threads with Macht Schnell spacer installations.

Steve - 10s should be more than enough. I had 10s before the new alloys, and now run 10s on the rears.

I think im going to go with 15mm front and 12mm rear - seen quite a few shots of US cars running this set up and it looks just right. If not, i will definitely go 12mm all round. Only issue is finding a UK supplier that has them in stock!!!

Have ordered the spacers through Teddy at SSDD - ive opted for 15mm front and 12mm rear - as per most of the US mod boys - should have them within next week or so - will get them fitted and post some before and after shots for you to see.

Hi,

I'm looking at this setup, can you advise details for SSDS and for contacting Teddy, what total price did you pay in the end including the longer studs needed?

Would I need exactly the same kit having the factory 19" rims?

PS. the Cars looking good

Cheers

Steve
