metallic or normal paint
what last longer in years to come?? metallic paint or the regular paint??
I'm still choosing between titanium silver or jet black? Does anyone have any real life jet black pics??? another question is about the trim. I don't know if I want aluminum trim or wood. I'm ordering black leather interior, so what do you guys think would look the best??? |

Get aluminum trim, it looks sooo NICE, and it matches perfect with the Titanium Silver.

Walnut looks good with black leather. If you want more contrast consider poplar which is lighter (some people think it looks cheap though). The aluminium looks very sporty and modern but will scratch more easily. |

TiAg outside with black interior with alum trim is the option I have and I love it, feels sporty and contrasts well with silver exterior. If you want a sporty look get alum. if you want a more conservative look get wood. I've been careful so far not to scratch the alum(still no scratches), but that is a consideration if you are not careful with your interior.
Get the silver exterior!!!!! I had a dark color car (similar to monaco blue) prior to the silver car. It is so nice and easy to get the car looking spotless. I doubt I will ever get a dark colored car again

background. As for the aluminum trim, I'm a neat freak. I don't allow people in the back seat. So basically my 335i will be a two passenger car. I really don't have alot of things in my car except for a laptop and a cell phone, so I don't think I'd have a problem with scratches. How are these scratches usually caused?? |

This is the only pic I could find for the 335i coupe with black leather and aluminum. Does anyone know of any other pics of
black leather with different trims?? I would really appreciate it.. |

I'd recommend just going on the bmwusa.com site and configuring a 330i or something. You can see how the different trims look with the different leather interiors. The 335i has other color options, but at least this will give you some idea.

Wood is for jaguars. The contrast between black leather and the aluminum trim is great and of course the sportiest look

I prefer wood in this rather cold cockpit. BTW metallic paint is a pure rip-off and in my case, it would be white or red. I prefer white because it is less likely to fade although all recent paints has been very good for lasting.

My car is jet black with the poplar wood trim. It looks really good. I disagree with anyone that says the jet black will fade. My other BMW is a 1998 328i, jet black, and its paint job is as good as new. It just depends if you take care of it. Good luck on your purchase.

I haven't had a problem with my aluminum trim scratching since I discovered the little plastic piece that holds the buckle high up so it doesn't hit it.

Personally I think it's a bit of a waste to by a BMW and have fake aluminum trim inside. If I was into that scene I would at Asian cars more.
