Tied between height + dampening or just height adjustibility

I am looking at some FK Silverline's. Not sure if I really will be needing both height and dampening adjustability or just height control. I am worried that the preloaded settings my not suite my semi-aggressive stiffness ride quality. Any of you guys with adjustable dampening just use the preloaded settings? That is my worry if I do end up getting the silverline x's.

Driving environment:
-Smooth roads with minimal road defects
-No tracking, but enthusiast style driving
-No worries on stiffness(drove my friends evo X and didn't mind)

If youre going to spend the money on coilovers, they might as well be height and dampening adjustable.

+1000. and the difference in price on the FK's is only a couple hundred bucks so you might as well go for it. do it right the first time and you'll have no regrets down the road

what they said^

think of it this way:

1. You buy the height adjustable only ones and you dont like the ride dampening --> you are screwed!

2. You buy the height and dampening adjustable ones and you dont like the ride dampening --> you adjust the dampening and be on your merry way!

you should look at AST's as well, the 4100's are a great setup. Put a set of 4100's with custom spring rates on a 335 coupe to run one lap and the setup was awesome.
