E92/E93 Cost Calculator

I make no promises... but this should help determine the cost and monthly payment of your new E92 (and estimate the cost for E93's).

Enjoy,
-Brett

Brett. Nice job and thanks!

FYI: The PMT function automatically calculates the monthly payment given a PV, FV, interest rate, and term.

Thanks, I knew there was a function, but was too lazy to look it up, plus my trust in MS is lacking .

Anyway, I am glad to see people checking it out. Please let me know if you find any bugs... plus assuming I can get ahold of Wholesale pricing I will try to incorporate that into the calculator.

Nice job on the spreadsheet. Is destination included?

Looks like a lease won't bring us under 700 months any time soon.

I am not sure of the math behind the lease, I am sure if someone can explain it briefly, I might be able to add it.

I did update it to have destination charge / taxes. But I am going to hold off uploading it, for a few other fixes.

There are multiple lease calulcators out there. Problem is, we don't have the MF's or residuals to back the estimates up...

Brett - nice job! Can you please add the wholesale pricing as well? It's already up in the "official E92 pricing" thread. Garnered from Bimmerfest, apparently.

Gluck - really?! Damn!

EDIT: brett - use this for your monthly payment cell...more accurate; same formula used by Bankrate: =PMT(D9/12,D8,D12)

Squawks, maybe i'm wrong...but I don't see "1000 over invoice" happening for several months, until there is a good supply around. No?

Excellent job on the calculator!

Invoice is important to me since I'm going to try to work up from that, not down from MSRP. I may be crazy, but it's worth a shot.

Gluck - sounds right to me. I been out of the loop upon E90's official debut so perhaps the E90 went through the same phase of strict MSRP pricing. This makes Eurodelivery more feasible especially if one desires to land one of these new models quickly!

How is the formula incorrect? I used:

Principal * (1 + Percentage) ^ (Months / 12)

Also, thanks for all the comments guys! I will be updating it tonight to have invoice pricing and I'll see if I can't figure out a way to determine lease payments.

Brett - I edited my post above. It is incorrect. Use this formula instead for calculating your monthly payment: =PMT(D9/12,D8,D12)

Brett - upon looking again at your loan value equation it is indeed correct. Not sure why the monthly payment is off a little, however.

EDIT: You can confirm with Bankrate's calculator - Bankrate will agree with the PMT formula.

Nah, there was a minor issue. I fixed it so that it agrees with BankRate. Good news is it lowers your payment

So updates:
Slightly Lower Payments
Taxes and Destination Considered in Monthly Payment
