Ipod adapter...

I want to add the option but my order is in production... Would this delay my order?

I personally wouldnt get it. Just make sure you have the USB jack. The ipod doesnt output digitally and you can tell a major difference. I have a 250gig HD hooked up, its digital and has a larger capacity.

Yes, you have to start over and get another allocation spot.

Please don't confuse this poster. The only way you can have a USB port to hook up a HD, is if you ordeded 6FL.

The IPOD option gives you the USB port in the armrest.

you can still get the option from your dealership.
but, this time the adapter will be in the glovebox instead of armrest.
also, if you order was placed recently. I believe 09's will have their own harddisk. You can simply upload your music to your onboard harddisk.

If you get the dealer installed IPOD option - it actually costs more and you don't get an USB port.

And, yeah, you can upload about 10 GIGs of music to the HD if you have Idrive.
