Quick question about build dates

If a car is, for example, a "June build", does that mean production was finished in June, or could it have started June 29 and ended sometime in July? Thanks.

Im not 100% sure about this so im only going to speculate here- I think if it says June built then it was started and finished in June. I mean the whole system is a chain so I doubt they would start building a car today and finish it a few days or even weeks later. I would think the entire process only takes a few hours or so for one car.

well..I did ED so the car was straight outta the factory when I picked up the car
my car was ready in December 2005, but paperwork...etc all stated the car's build-date is oct 2005...hope this helps

Yeah I guess you're right. I dont know for sure so I was just tryin to think logically. What I still dont get is the ED factor. The whole process takes 3 months so your car couldnt have been built 2 months before but by the time you get there 2 months have already passed. I dont know if that make any sense.

is impossible to built a car in just few hours....even a burger needs to be flip a few times

anyways....think about software/parts upgrades/bugs...etc. If a car was built in june 06 and finish production in sept 06. Lets say that there was an upgrade to a software in sept 06. If we go by Finish date, this car will not have the upgraded software with a built-date of sept. Do you know what i mean???
