LET Motorsport Flash Tune Stage 1 is ready to flash
The gain is modest, after all it is just a Stage 1.
The LET Flash Stage 1 made 40 more hp and 27 more ft/lb of torque at peak than stock. In the curve, it made 44 more hp! and 37 more ft/lb! of torque, great numbers for a flash running 11.7 psi of boost. Stage 2 and 3 will be released soon! Please refer to this thread for more info: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=237053 Retail on this flash is $699, labor for performing the flash is currently waived. !!!Intro offer is $499!!! Through the end of August this flash is on SPECIAL for $399!!!! Please contact us if you are in California. Flash can be done while you wait. SoCal N54 owners! I am often in the LA area and can perform a flash on location with 110v power and wireless internet access.

This is great news! I'm sure there's much more in store. I hope this is a fair question> How does your ecu flash compare to a similarly performing tune like a jb2 or jb+? Will customers who purchase the stage 1 tune have updates as they become available? Otherwise, how can someone justify spending $500+ for performance that you could pay less than $100 for. Granted, I'm sure this is diagnostically invisible and there is no wires or connections to mess with.

There is a small charge from Stage 1 to Stage 2 or 3, but you are only paying for the difference each time. Flashes are easily reversible and does not omit or modify sensor inputs, thus giving much better overall driveability. The data is already in the ECU and that results in quicker reaction times. What you will notice is a better throttle response and acceleration. Since only the data is changed, not the complete ECU program, nothing will alarm the diagnostic unit of any faults. With a flash, there is not wires or connectors to mess with. |

^^^ Great info. Thanks!
You should schedule appointments for Bimmerfest. Offer a 'group' Bimmerfest price and flash on the spot. You could pull stable 110 from any ac cigarette adapter and borrow someones mobile pc card for internet on your laptop. |

Beta testing is over. However, I can flash your car without the typical labor charges involved. All you pay for is the flash only, no sales tax either.

Is the flash detectable by BMW? Meaning if we want to take the car in for service, usually we would unplug a JB3 lets say, clear any codes and go for service, how would this process work with the LET flash? I have had flashes on my previous car, VW, but I never serviced it so I never thought about removing the flash, etc.... thanks.
