I have some bulbs up for sale that i ended up not using. They are all practically new, some unopened. As follows:

jlevisw LED sidemarker (xenon white) msrp $10, make offer (no codes)
jlevisw LED license plate light (xenon white) msrp $20, make offer (threw a code on my early build 06 for 3 seconds after startup, later build dates are supposed to be fine, i cant guarantee anything though)
bimmian solaris invisibulbs (7507 xenon white) msrp $25, make offer
bimmian xenesis tru-match for high beam center lights (H7 6000k xenon) msrp $39, make offer

I also have an infinity basslink self-powered 10 inch subwoofer, takes up 1 cu. ft. of trunk space and sounds very good. $160 obo.

The best answer is "sort of." It throws the code at startup for 3 seconds then goes away, but it really depends on your car. From my understanding, later build dates dont have this problem. Sorry i dont have a definitive answer. Why BMW so grossly overengineered their auxilary light system is beyond me.
