Sway Bar

Hi,

My friend got a e90 sport package 325i. He asked me about sway bar thing. But i don't know anything about it? can anyone answer it for me?
1) Is it a huge difference if i install the rear sway bar only comparing to installing the front and rear only?
2) Will it increase the stiffness of the ride?
3) What should he go for if he doesn't want to void the warranty?

There's a group buy trying to get started for the sway bars & chassis brace with regard to the E90/92/93 platforms.

Here's some information about the Hotchkis sway bars offered by HP Autowerks ......... as far as the warranty void goes; the warranty will become void with regard to anything/part you RR on the car. If you change your intake to aftermarket ....... exhaust to aftermarket etc ...... tire and wheel insurance coverage (if purchased separately from the dealer) remains in effect no matter what tires/wheels are installed.

Hotchkis Sway Bars

2006 - 2009 BMW E90 Sedan, E92 Coupe, and E93 Convertible( xi models excluded)
Enhance the cornering performance of your BMW with a set of Hotchkis Sport Suspension sport sway bars. Our 335I sport sway bar package increases front/rear roll stiffness giving the car crisp, quick turn-in response and balanced handling. As delivered the 335I has excessive under steer and limited roll control. Sport sway bars give the driver the ability to rotate the car on corner entry and steer with the throttle when necessary. The dreaded under steer is eliminated and the handling becomes comfortably neutral with added traction during cornering. Hotchkis Sport Suspension sway bars feature a durable powder coat finish, greaseable bushings, and adjustable Heim joint end links.
Features:
- Front sway bar-lightweight, durable 26.5mm tubular steel
- Rear sway bar-lightweight, durable 20mm tubular steel
- Precision adjustable front end links w quiet operating heavy duty ball joints
- Precision adjustable rear end links w quiet operating heavy duty ball joints and high articulation rod ends
- Greasable polyurethane bushings and heavy duty mounts included
- Autocross & track tuned for maximum performance improvement
- Finished in durable gloss gray powder coat

Benefits: * Increased Traction.
* Reduced Body Roll
* Increased Vehicle Stability
* Crisper Cornering
* Easy Installation

As long as you're prepared to restore the car back to its OEM condition at lease end ............. hell yes! Enjoy the ride a little more
