As harsh as this sounds, I can`t beleive that in these times anybody would wire full payment for an expensive car without going to see the car/seller or collect in person.

My dad got scammed out of £1600 on the internet for a motorbike that never turned up, so it happens but £30K ??? Can't believe anyone would wire that money over, still

Someone has recently tried to scam me for me my hifi gear ive got advertised........

You should have read it, alarm bells ringing

I read it out in the voice of George from Fonejacker to my mate and it was hilarious!

That is one of the main reasons I always avoid ebay and buying 2ndhand if I can.

He's learnt the hard way I guess, poor guy.

When I sold my old VW last year I advertised it also on ebay.
Had 4 replies from 4 different African countries & all 4 of them were scams..

Eventually sold it to a local guy..
