Small CF side view mirrors (interest?)
I posted this thread in the exterior section, but I think this will pertain more to racing than to people looking for "bling."
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...76#post4577976 If they drop 2lbs. off a Lotus Elise side mirror (yes, 1lb. each) then I'm sure they'll probably drop a few pounds off our electric huge side mirrors.

I would not be interested in these because of how ugly they look. Much more I like those ones that look like micky mouse ears that WRC rally cars have (knida of half of the mirror if yuo know what I'm talking about). Those might look good, save weright and you wont knock them off while racing in the forrest. ... with a 3 series. Ok, rediculous, but still. that will look much nicer. :P

They are very small and don't really do much for rear vision, which is actually a good thing to have. Even on the track guys with M3 mirrors wish they could have the Bigger Non M mirrors.

The mirror is convex so you actually get a larger field of vision eliminating blind spots.

May be convex, but you don't get better vision.
When on track you want to just glance, and a tiny mirror is harder to quickly see and pick up things in, even if it's convex.
