Should I wait?

If I am looking to purchase a slightly used 2006 330i, should I wait until september when the 328/335 come out? Looking for opinions on depreciation once the 2007's are out and availability as well. Will a lot of people be getting rid of their 330's to get a 335? What does everyone think?

Thanks.

I would wait. You could probably get some pretty good deals when the 335 comes out. Heck, you might even be able to find some folks on this board who want to sell theirs!

They are already getting rid of them. Check the for sale thread and you will see 2 for sale. Good Luck!

I wouldn't want a car that somebody else decided wasn't good enough to keep for more than a couple months

not that the 3's a bad car, but I have doubts about how anyone who owns a car for a few months handles their business and takes car of their vehicle

but I'd say buy it now rather than waiting, you'll be in for a rude shock at how much prices DON'T instantly drop when the next models comes out. It's not a japanese motorcycle...

There is one for sale that is only a few week old. I just saw it and couldn't believe it.

There are different reasons why people sell cars so quick, I just got hired by Ford so my 330I will probably be going up for sale soon or get traded in, but I wish I didn't have too. I have taken great care of it, not that at under 3000 miles that is too hard.

i'm trading in a 330i sedan for a 335i coupe after 11/2 years with the 330.

I got the 330i for $ 53500CDN BEFORE taxes and the sales who sold me the 330 told me the car would be worth about high 30's to low 40's for the 335i coupe trade in. So, that' about 25-30% loss between the 1st and 2nd year of the car.
