How much above invoice can I expect?

Hey guys,

Thinking of trading in my 03 540i for a 335i sedan and was wondering how much it would cost above invoice if I ordered one.

I know I could probably get a better deal on one that's been sitting on the lot for a couple months, but where I live (Chicago) noone has a 335i sedan with manual tranny available.

Thanks for looking.

Becareful you don't get soaked on the trade. I tracked private sales on Craigslist to get an idea of what my 530i was going for before going in.

is MACO different from the "Training Service Fee" and the "Destination and Handling"?

Im looking at the Confidential Wholesale Price sheet and i'm a little confused.

Yes, it's a separate cost in addition to those two things. MACO is not listed in the wholesale pricing. If my memory serves me correctly, it's about $400.

MACO fees vary state to state - check with your dealer - you only pay it if you purchase, not lease. Check the dealer invoice to make sure you're not getting hosed. I paid $280 total MACO fee here in PA.

I sell them on average for 1k over. If you shop 500 is doable.
