The tractor in the last pic is clearly running a remapped 335D powerplant,the front wheels can't cope with the torque!

That is known as a fish ladder it enables the wild sea trout to move up the water course to breed .The sea trout follow the smell of the fresh water back up stream to there breeding ground

The job was to remove a large oak that had fallen in the stream causing a blockage .
The oak will be used in some way furniture or timber frame buildings .The deer were curious and came back several times
The john deere was having a small issue with pulling the oak trunk out approx 10t of dead weight stuck in the water and river bank.
