SOLD!! No More Porsche!!

Well that fateful day came and went today - my Porsche 997 C2S with all the lovely GT3 bits went to a new home - it was genuinely a very tough decision to make but the offer was fantastic and i sold the car for a LOT more than i paid for it 2 months ago and even with all the GT3 additions ive actually made a full £2,000 on top - so im happy on that score.

My only problem now is what to replace it with?? I test drove yet another white E92 M3 today, fully loaded with EDC etc etc, but it had rather tatty CSL alloys on and a large scratch on the CF roof - guy was not too bothered about selling it so i walked away. I have an option on another E92 M3 in white, again fully loadd, but this time via Sytner but i have to wait til March when the customer who currently owns the car is selling it for a brand new X5. I have first dibs on it and to be honest im happy to wait for the right spec'd M3. Ive considered RS4 Avants and various other cars that have performance as well as practicality but i think its the M3 for me this time.

Will keep you all posted!!!

What made you sell such a lovely car? Especially after putting all the work into it

Then again each to there own, seems like you are going by my old motto too many cars, too little time

What are you thinking of going for?

i think theres only one way to go, buy a porsche again, do it up and sell it, now you know where to get the stuff maybe even cheaper the second time round and make a bigger profit, you could even give your job, maybe not the pretty ladies bit lol

I saw you car the other day on autotrader when looking about myself - did you get what you were asking for it? Someone had a very nice car indeed.

Lots of cars are going back up in value now as they got too cheap - I could sell the RS for a couple of grand easily.

What about a four door M3, they say it drives better than the coupe, and its more practical!

What are we all like eh!!!!

Well done on your sale Steve. The e92 M3 has really grown on me and if I didn't have a huge negative equity situation on my 335i I would be tempted!!!

Enjoy the hunt!

Thanks guys. To be honest i believe i have always bought my cars well and wisely, i then believe i modify my cars tastefully and always improve upon what the factory churns out as standard and then i sell them well by taking good clear pictures attached to a well written and precise advert - and then i always hold my ground for the price i want. Interestingly, ive just received a text message from the guy who bought the 997 today saying how in love with the car he is and what a pleasure it was doing business with me - and he paid over £2,000 MORE than i advertised it at!! Im happy and he is happy - win, win and the best outcome.
