:mad: I wanted to install a set of spacers on the rear and this is what I descoverd......................... I felt from the first day that the car is to BUMPY on the left rear side..., but I never thought of this. (pictures taken with my phone) First pic is the left rear side My advise to you...: CHECK YOUR CAR WHEN YOU GET IT...................

Wow thats sum crazy shit my friend! been like that since u got it? ive pulled my wheels off dozens of times, so im not in ur boat, but i feel for u! u take it to the dealer yet? u think they're gonna try and blame it on being u didnt come forth w this problem earler? even though u didnt notice it until now!!! sucks dude!easy repair though!

they should check the shock tubes neways. i would have to say i wouldnt be comfortable beating down on my car, knowing that the shocks arent a 100% nemore! its their fault. i would demand new shocks, just to play it safe. event though nothing is evidently wrong! but whatever happens g.l man! pretty shitty quality control. and ur dealer isnt to sharp either if they let sumthing like that slip through the cracks!

problem fixed. it took 30 seconds to take them out.... they tested the shocks and they are ok. yup they are sorry but i dont care(:mad: ), thks god the car is ok................

It sucks that it happened to you...
I'm a BMW tech, and I'll tell you, you haven't damaged your shock. Those bump stops get left in every now and then, but it is no indication of the quality of your dealer. a PDI is up to exactly ONE person, the tech assigned to the vehicle. He was in a hurry, and missed. He WILL get his ass chewed. |
